Levels and length of funding for students
The Trust seeks to support a large number of students at a level sufficient to allow them to take up their place at Cambridge and complete their courses. Accordingly, we set our stipend levels, where stipends are paid as part of the scholarship, at the level prescribed by the University.
The duration of funding provided by the Trust is always the same as the standard course length set by the University. The Trust has limited ability to support the maintenance costs of PhD students who overrun: such support is limited to students whose PhD studies are mainly funded by the Trust, and who are overrunning through no fault of their own.
