Partnership renewed

The Pexim Foundation and the Cambridge Trust have renewed their partnership, which co-funds up to five scholarships each year for students from Serbia or Macedonia who wish to study for a Masters degree at Cambridge.

Helen Pennant, the Trust's Director, visited Serbia to formally sign the agreement, with Mihail Petreski, President of the Pexim Foundation.  The signing ceremony, hosted by Mr Denis Keefe, Ambassador to Serbia (and himself a Cambridge alumnus), was witnessed by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Serbia, Kori Udovički, and attended by many of the Pexim Cambridge Alumni.

Since the inception of the partnership back in 2010, sixteen deserving students from Serbia and Macedonia have been supported to undertake their studies in Cambridge, in varying subjects.

Speaking at the ceremony, Helen Pennant said "it gives me particular pleasure to visit Serbia at the invitation of the Pexim Foundation to renew this valuable partnership, which will help to provide the opportunity for many more talented students from Serbia and Macedonia to undertake their studies in the prestigious institution which is the University of Cambridge".
