Trust scholars gather for annual reception
On Monday 25 April, over 600 international students supported by the Trust attended their annual Scholars' Reception at the Fitzwilliam Museum.
The scholars, from 75 countries around the world, were able to meet with Trustees, senior representatives of the University, and a number of the Trust's funding partners who contribute to scholarships administered by the Trust.
Each year the Trust awards in the region of 500 scholarships, and supports some 1,100 students in residence in Cambridge.
The Fitzwilliam Museum is this year celebrating its 200th birthday, and has a number of special exhibitions, including the fascinating 'Death on the Nile: Uncovering the afterlife of ancient Egypt' collection. Guests were able to view this and other unique collections throughout the Museum. Details about the Museum's Bicentenary, and its exhibitions and events, can be viewed here.
A selection of images of the event can be seen on the Trust's flickr account.
