Commonwealth & International Student Christmas Conference 2022
Every year since 1948, Cumberland Lodge, an educational charity founded in 1947, has gathered students together at Christmas time for a three day conference.
Cumberland Lodge is a charity that empowers people, through dialogue and debate, to tackle the causes and effects of social division. They engage people of all ages, backgrounds and perspectives in candid conversations on issues that affect us all, and actively involve students and young people in all aspects of their work, providing a wide range of opportunities to nurture their potential as future thought leaders and change makers.
Alongside the programme of guest speakers and activities for the Commonwealth & International Student Christmas Conference 2022, those in attendance were able to enjoy some favourite traditions, including a Christmas dinner and the opportunity to attend a Carol Service at the Royal Chapel in Windsor Great Park.
One of the Cambridge Trust students who attended the event commented “the conference was great! The topics were insightful, the activities engaging and the place itself beautiful. We were among a very diverse group of people and it was nice to meet so many other commonwealth scholars”.
