Daiwa Anglo-Japanese Cambridge Scholarship

Funding Partner

Daiwa Anglo-Japanese Foundation

The Daiwa Anglo-Japanese Foundation is a UK charity established in 1988 with a generous benefaction from Daiwa Securities Co. Ltd. Its purpose is to support closer links between Britain and Japan via the award of grants and scholarships and the organisation of events to increase the understanding of Japan in the UK. The Foundation offers a wide programme of lectures, seminars, book launches, courses and exhibitions and provides meeting rooms for Japan-related activities and facilities for visiting academics.

The Foundation partners with the Cambridge Trust to provide the Daiwa Anglo-Japanese Cambridge Scholarship. The scholarship funds the tuition fee for any one-year Master’s course available at the University, up to a cap of £35,000, as well as a stipend. It is tenable at any College within the University of Cambridge. Applicants must be citizens of Japan.
