HMG GREAT Campaign

In partnership with the British Council and the Study UK campaign, the Cambridge Commonwealth, European & International Trust is offering scholarships to students from India, Indonesia, Pakistan and Kenya applying for postgraduate courses in any subject.

The Study UK campaign is offering 161 scholarships from 42 UK universities to students from Bangladesh, China, Egypt, Ghana, Kenya, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Thailand to access world-class UK higher education opportunities.

A GREAT scholarship offers a minimum of £10,000 to students pursuing one year postgraduate study in the UK. Students can apply for courses in a range of subjects, at one of the 42 institutions across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

The Cambridge Trust is a major source of funding to scholars at the University of Cambridge and offers a number of scholarships for postgraduate students.

If you are applying for graduate study, please check and apply by the funding deadline specific to your course.  There will be two general course deadlines of 3 December 2020 and 7 January 2021.

You do not need to apply to the Trust directly as an application for funding can be made as part of your application for admission to the University.

If you wish to be considered for a scholarship from the Trust, you must complete the funding section of the online application form via the Applicant Portal expressing your wish to be considered for funding and give details of the scholarships for which you wish to be considered.

The University’s Postgraduate Admissions web pages contain guidance for applicants on the application process.  In addition, there are help pages applicants can link to directly once the online application is started.

You are encouraged to use the Trust's scholarships search to find all the awards for which you may be eligible.
