St Edmund’s College
St Edmund's College is a graduate college with about 50 Fellows and 350 student members, including some mature students studying as undergraduates. It is committed to the support of its members, who are working across all academic disciplines studying for degrees of the University of Cambridge and/or carrying out research. A relaxed and cordial atmosphere is encouraged, in which students and Fellows mix freely. The College is noted for the strength of its international community: about two-thirds of the students are from some 60 countries, and one-third are UK residents.
The College works with the Cambridge Trust to offer a number of scholarships for PhD students: Luzio Vice-Chancellor's Award (awarded each year), and Duke of Edinburgh and Charter Vice-Chancellor's Award or Cambridge International Scholarship (awarded every three years). The two organisations are also joined by donor Mr Gopal Chand Anand to offer the Peter Kishor Chand Anand Cambridge Scholarship, for Indian students taking a Masters degree at the College.
