Wing Yip

Mr Wing Yip is the founder of the Wing Yip corporation, now widely recognised as the UK's leading Chinese and Oriental supplier, with stores and a national distribution network supplying the majority of Chinese restaurants throughout the country.

It is an established family business with two generations of the Wing Yip family currently involved in the day-to-day running of the Group.

Mr Yip, in collaboration with the Education Section of the Chinese Embassy in London, Churchill College and the Cambridge Trust, has donated the Wing Yip Cambridge Scholarship, which is available to Chinese students from Peking University or Tsinghua University who apply to take a Master's degree at the University of Cambridge.
