Brockmann Cambridge Scholarship

The Brockmann Cambridge Scholarship is available to Masters applicants from Mexico, in any subject except Master of Business, Executive Master of Business Administation and Global EMBA, Master of Finance and Executive Master of Accounting, which are not supported under this award.

The scholarship is tenable at any College and is offered in partnership with The Becas Magdalena O.Vda de Brockmann Foundation.

Value

  • University tuition fee (international rate)
  • Annual maintenance (sufficient for a single person)
  • Student visa
  • Student Immigration Health Surcharge

Conditions

  • Applicants must have completed a four-year undergraduate degree in any field, terminating with a diploma, showing good academic progress
  • Successful applicants must:
    • agree to Brockmann Foundation’s terms and conditions including the requirement to return and work in Mexico within six months of completing the degree at the University, or within one year if the recipient is authorized in writing by the Brockmann Foundation to stay in the UK for professional practices related to his/her Masters degree
    • agree to accept the Brockmann Foundation’s terms of support which require repayment of 30% of the Brockmann Foundation’s portion of the scholarship interest free on return to Mexico after completion of studies
  • This scholarship is not available for students taking the following courses:
    • Master of Business (MBA)
    • Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA)
    • Global Executive Master of Business Administration (Global EMBA)
    • Master of Finance (MFin)
    • Master of Accounting (MAcc)

How to apply

To ensure that they are considered for this scholarship, applicants must follow both of the following steps:

  1. check with Becas Magdalena O.Vda de Brockmann the funding call deadlines and details of the application process, and apply accordingly; AND
  2. apply for admission to the University of Cambridge by the funding deadline specific to their course (please refer to the Postgraduate Course Directory)

Becas Magdalena O.Vda.de Brockmann

The Becas Magdalena O.Vda de Brockmann was founded in 1992 by Guillermo Brockmann, in honour of his late mother. It enables talented young Mexicans to obtain high-quality postgraduate education abroad.

The Foundation works with the Cambridge Trust to offer the Brockmann Cambridge Scholarship, which is available to Master's applicants from Mexico.
