Hong Kong Jockey Club Graduate Scholarships at the University of Cambridge

The Graduate Scholarship at the University of Cambridge is open to applicants who are enrolling in a full-time Masters or PhD degree programme, and are ordinarily resident and have permanent residency in Hong Kong.

  • Annual stipend (sufficient for a single person)
  • Immigration Health Surcharge

Conditions

Applicants should show leadership and teamwork, commitment to serving and improving the lives of others; and strength of character. This may be expressed in different forms - inside or outside school activities, personal accomplishments or community commitments.

How to apply

No separate application is required for this scholarship, only the application for admission to the University of Cambridge, which must be submitted by the funding deadline specific to your course (please refer to the Postgraduate Course Directory)

Funding Partner

The Hong Kong Jockey Club Scholarships are funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust. Since 1998, the Trust has been awarding annual scholarships at Hong Kong’s tertiary institutions to students who combine outstanding academic performance with a strong commitment to serving the community.

The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust is a charitable trust established by The Hong Kong Jockey Club in 1993. Working with the Government, non-governmental organisations and community, the Trust is committed to improving the quality of life of the people of Hong Kong. As a philanthropic organisation in its own right, HKJCCT also proactively identifies and initiates projects that anticipate future community and social needs.
