Cambridge and Paris

In the next two academic years the Trust is offering Masters scholarships to French students who graduate from member institutions of Paris Sciences et Lettres.

Paris Sciences et Lettres (PSL) is a new research university, which brings together a range of French institutions with diverse histories and strong identities, but with common practices and values, and a commitment to teaching through innovative research.

During a visit to Cambridge on 6 May by senior members of PSL, and in the presence of the French ambassador to the UK, H.E. Bernard Emié, a joint letter of agreement was signed by the Trust's Director, Helen Pennant, and the President of PSL, Monique Canto-Sperber.

This followed the signing of a more general framework agreement between the University and PSL, to enhance and develop joint research, and student and staff mobility between the two institutions.

A fuller news story can be found on the University's website.
