Trust renews partnership
Trust Director, Helen Pennant, recently visited India where she formally signed an agreement in collaboration with the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation. Mr Arun Nathan, Director of the Foundation, welcomed Helen in Delhi for the formal ceremony.
The longstanding partnership between the parties began over 20 years ago, and this new agreement reflects the changing focus of the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation, which was established in 1991 to realize the visions of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi.
Under the new agreement, five full-cost awards may be made each year to outstanding applicants from India wishing to undertake Masters and PhD degrees in any subject within the field of Social Sciences at the University of Cambridge.
