Director (Awards) Dr Rachel Coupe at our welcome event for 2025 scholars

Join our team!

Following a strategic review, the Cambridge Trust is seeking brilliant people to help deliver a transformation in our external communications and engagement.

With clear strategic priorities confirmed, we are enhancing our communications, deepening and expanding our partnerships, and developing an approach to impact measurement that enables us to tell a stronger story about the difference the Trust makes. We are looking for energetic people with the skills and drive to implement these changes.

Initially we are recruiting two Associate Directors. Details are below. We will soon advertise two Coordinators to further enhance our implementation capability.

Associate Director Partnerships and Impact

The Cambridge Trust plays a unique role by connecting partners from across the globe with the academic needs of the University of Cambridge so that outstanding people can study here.

The Associate Director Partnerships and Impact will strengthen our external partnerships so that our partners, our scholars, and our stakeholders across Cambridge, can benefit more fully from the potential our partnering role offers.

You will achieve this by i) bringing greater structure to how we manage relationships, ii) increasing our engagement with partners, and iii) implementing a new impact framework so that we can tell a much stronger story to partners about the difference their support makes.

You will also have the opportunity to design and implement our first alumni engagement programme, growing a global community of Cambridge Trust scholars inspired to engage with our work.

The closing date is 4 December 2025.

To apply, please submit your CV and cover letter, of 800 words maximum, to trustrecruitment@admin.cam.ac.uk.

Associate Director Communications

The priority in this role is to implement a communications strategy and plan that increases understanding of the Trust’s unique role, impact and offer among key audiences in Cambridge, nationally and globally. You will oversee an annual events programme which enables Trust supported students to network while they are in Cambridge, and you’ll play a major role in the design and implementation of our first alumni engagement programme, growing a global community of Cambridge Trust scholars inspired to engage with our work.

You will communicate effectively with prospective Cambridge students around the world, designing compelling campaigns that support our goals. You will infuse impact data across all of our communications, creating evidence-based narratives about the transformation power of a Cambridge Trust scholarship.
