Tendai Kariwo

Partnerships Manager

Tendai joined the Cambridge Trust in April 2019 as the Partnerships Manager. Her main responsibilities are managing the Trust’s relationships with its partners, with which the Trust offers studentships as part of a collaborative process, often with co-funding. 

She is an experienced charity specialist who has worked with charities and philanthropists in the UK, as well as internationally. Tendai has an extensive background in commercial banking, charity finance and fundraising. She studied International Development at the Institute of Continuing Education at the University of Cambridge and has recently attained a Masters in Philanthropy, Grantmaking and Social Investment at Bayes Business School. Tendai previously held roles at the Museum of London and Charities Aid Foundation. She has been involved in development initiatives in Africa and India. In addition, Tendai served on The Cambridge Housing Society (CHS) Group Board for 9 years and is an advisor to the boards of a couple of charities.
