Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Arab Republic of Egypt
The Ministry of Higher Education is one of the governmental bodies of Egypt, based in Cairo. Its major function is to develop, implement and monitor all the country's policies relating to Higher Education; it is responsible for the educational activities of Egyptian universities, both public and private.
The Ministry, represented by the Egyptian Bureau for Cultural and Educational Affairs in London, is working with the Cambridge Trust to offer the MOHE Egypt Cambridge Scholarships, for PhD students in any subject.
A separate external application is required for this scholarship
To ensure that they are considered for this scholarship, applicants must:
- Check with the MOHE Egypt the funding call deadlines and details of the application process, and apply accordingly; and
- Apply for admission to the University of Cambridge by the funding deadline specific to their course
At the time of applying, candidates should be working in a public university or research institute in Egypt, and be eligible to receive an MOHE Full Scholarship.
