Aker Scholarship at University of Cambridge

This scholarship is available to Norwegian students and students with a strong link to Norway, who are taking a Masters or PhD degree in any subject, and is tenable at any College.

Application:

Candidates should apply direct to the Aker Scholarship in the year before that in which they wish to start their studies in Cambridge and must apply for admission to the University of Cambridge by the relevant funding deadline.

Value:

Variable, but sufficient to ensure that the full cost of study at the University of Cambridge is covered.

This scholarship is available to Masters applicants from Jordan, Syria, Palestine (including Palestinians inside Israel) and Lebanon.

Priority is given to candidates living permanently in the Foundation's target countries; however, Syrian applicants who are currently residing elsewhere will be considered, due to the current circumstances in Syria.

There are no restrictions on academic subjects, but priority will be given to candidates who can demonstrate that their subject will enable them to contribute to the development of their home country.  It is tenable at any College.
