Canada Cambridge Trust Scholarship (undergraduate)

This scholarship is available to Canadian citizens residing in Canada, as well as Permanent Residents of Canada.  Two awards are available each year - one for a student studying an Arts/Humanities subject and one for a student studying a Science/Maths/Engineering subject (excluding Medicine and Veterinary Medicine). The scholarship covers all fees, including College fees but does not include living costs. Unfortunately these awards are not open to students who already have a University degree or those who are applying for an affiliated place.

Khazanah Cambridge Scholarship

This scholarship is available to Malaysian applicants for both undergraduate and postgraduate study.

It may be awarded in any academic subject (excluding Medicine), but priority will be given to applications in Biosciences (Bioengineering, Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Genomics), Business, Economics, Electronics, Engineering, Finance, Law, Material Sciences, Nanotechnology and Public Health.

Application:

In addition to an application to the University of Cambridge, candidates should apply to the Yayasan Khazanah.

 

Students who are applying to start a new degree course and students in the first year of a BA or PhD course are eligible to apply.

 

 

Conditions:

  • Undergraduate applicants should be under 20 years of age, and postgraduate applicants should be under 40 years of age.
  • Successful applicants will be required to return to work in Malaysia for the number of years equal to the length of their scholarship (minimum 2 years).

This scholarship is available to undergraduate applicants from Hong Kong in any subject.

Successful applicants who complete a BA at the University of Cambridge may apply for a further scholarship to continue on to a one-year taught postgraduate degree.

In addition to applying to the University of Cambridge, an application should be made to the Friends of Cambridge University in Hong Kong.

The Beacon Scholarship at Cambridge

This scholarship is available to students from Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda who are applying to take an undergraduate degree (BA).

Application:

In addition to applying to the University of Cambridge, a candidate must register with the Beacon Scholarship and download a Nomination Form (to be completed by the Head of their current secondary school).

 

If a candidate is offered admission to the University of Cambridge, they will be required to complete a full Beacon Scholarship Application Form and Financial Disclosure.

Conditions:

  • Applicants should demonstrate leadership potential, and need financial assistance to study at the University of Cambridge.
  • Successful applicants are required to return to their home country within one month of the end of the scholarship.

Value:

The Cambridge Trust and The Beacon Equity Trust each contribute 1/3 rd of the total cost (including University tuition fee, College fee, annual stipend and annual airfare).  The balance of the cost is to be paid by the scholar's family/guardian.
