Aidan’s time at Peterhouse, the oldest College in Cambridge, has, in his own words, included some of the best years of his life. The friends he has made there, from all around the world, are priceless; he especially enjoyed International brunches and dinners at the college, where the social model of the dining hall encouraged interaction between students who had cultural exchanges and learnt about each others' different ways of thinking, whether in philosophy, history, or culture. Aidan says “I had excellent supervisors in Mathematics, and the Faculty was no less impressive.”

While at Peterhouse, Aidan represented the College in chess and poker tournaments, and wrote an article about fractal finance and the dangers of financial modelling for the Archimedean Society's mathematics magazine, Eureka. In his leisure time, he likes travelling and writes a blog about travelling and his ideas.
