Inlaks Shivdasani Foundation
The Inlaks Shivdasani Foundation was established by Mr Indoo Shivdasani in 1976, in order to incorporate the existing philanthropic work of the founder and to provide a permanent independent body for the expansion of those activities.
The Foundation's main objective is to identify exceptionally talented young Indian students and support them financially, enabling them to develop their special skills and talents to the maximum. It offers a range of different scholarship programmes, including a programme for postgraduate study and research abroad; over 350 scholars have benefited from these awards.
From 2016 the Foundation is working with the Cambridge Trust to offer the Inlaks Cambridge Scholarship, available to Indian students at Masters or PhD level in a range of academic subjects.
