Thanks to the generosity of Pembroke College alumnus Keith Sykes, the Trust is delighted to offer the Keith Sykes Cambridge Italian PhD Scholarship.
A life-long lover of Italy, Keith, who lives part of the year in Como, also generously funds other studentships at Selwyn College and St Catharine’s College, as well as funding a studentship in Medieval Italian Literature and a research fellowship in Italian Studies at Pembroke College.
Two fully-funded scholarships will be offered for the academic year 2019-20. The objective of the scholarship is to give financial support to students who are citizens of the United Kingdom or the European Union and who are working towards PhD degrees on research topics at the Italian Section of the Faculty of Modern and Medieval Languages at the University of Cambridge. The scholarships will fully fund tuition fees at the Home-EU rate and a maintenance stipend.
