The National University of Singapore is a leading global university. Founded as a medical school in 1905 to serve the needs of the local community, it has grown to become Singapore’s flagship university, consistently ranked among the top universities in Asia and in the world.
Home to nearly 40,000 students, NUS offers taught courses in all academic fields, and interdisciplinary research projects that attract talented students and senior academics from around the world.
Since 2015 the University has worked with the Cambridge Trust to offer full PhD scholarships to current NUS students in all subjects.
A separate external application is required for this scholarship
To ensure that they are considered for this scholarship, applicants must:
- Check with the National University of Singapore the funding call deadlines and details of the application process, and apply accordingly; and
- Apply for admission to the University of Cambridge by the funding deadline specific to their course
Successful applicants will be expected to work at the National University of Singapore upon completion of their PhD.
