The Croucher Foundation
The Croucher Foundation is a private trust set up by the late Noel Croucher, one of the founders of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and a British businessman in Hong Kong for over 70 years. It specializes in promoting the standard of natural science, technology and medicine in Hong Kong through awards and grants to scientists based in and serving Hong Kong.
The Foundation works with the Cambridge Trust to offer the Croucher Cambridge International Scholarship, available to PhD candidates from Hong Kong in the fields of Natural Sciences, Technology and Medicine.
A separate external application is required for this scholarship
To ensure that they are considered for this scholarship, applicants must:
- Check with The Croucher Foundation the funding call deadlines and details of the application process, and apply accordingly; and
- Apply for admission to the University of Cambridge by the funding deadline specific to their course
This scholarship is not available to applicants to Clinical Medicine courses.
