Yayasan Khazanah
Yayasan Khazanah is a foundation established by Khazanah Nasional Berhad, the investment holding arm of the Government of Malaysia.
It is entrusted with the selection and support of exceptional individuals who will eventually take on high-level positions in the best organisations in Malaysia, including the Government-Linked Companies.
This mission is in line with Khazanah Nasional’s commitment to the active development of human capital to ensure that Malaysia continues to develop its competitiveness on the global stage.
Yayasan Khazanah works with the Cambridge Trust to offer the Khazanah Cambridge Scholarship, which is available to Malaysian undergraduate and postgraduate applicants in a range of academic subjects.
A separate external application is required for this scholarship
To ensure that they are considered for this scholarship, applicants must:
- Check with Yayasan Khazanah the funding call deadlines and details of the application process, and apply accordingly; and
- Apply for admission to the University of Cambridge by the funding deadline specific to their course
Students who are applying to start a new degree course and students in the first year of a BA or PhD course are eligible to apply. Undergraduate applicants should be under 20 years of age, and postgraduate applicants should be under 40 years of age. Successful applicants will be required to return to work in Malaysia for the number of years equal to the length of their scholarship (minimum 2 years).
